For Mother’s Day we had blunch at The Cannery Seafood House. I really like this place, and their special in-house lobster oil – served with balasmic vinegar and thick, warm slices of tasty sourdough – is simple yet so divine. Unfortunately they did not have their marlin for the blunch, and the other fish were all the typical ones (halibut, salmon, trout…). The only “special” fish on the menu was the mahi mahi, so I chose that. Not bad. I gorged on the yummy sourdough. Gorging might be an understatement.
